I spend a lot of my spare time working on music. I was wondering if anyone else is into music production. I have a new song I'm working on. It's a remix of the stage music from the 1990 Silver Surfer NES game. I heard the song first as a live 8bit remix while I was at a show in Japan. Assuming the file hosting I uploaded to stays online, this should be a link to stream what I already have. www.supload.com/listen?s=SXYLKARM21JI also have a few tracks and works in progress up on my music myspace www.myspace.com/djdesuTell me what you think :>

what are you using to make this stuff?
I can't lie, it's totally not my thing at all, but you've got a very tight sound. I produce a little, and do freelance audio mixing professionally.

I use Reason for synthesis and arrangement, and goldwave to cut samples and post process.
My biggest problem is that I don't have decent speakers, so I have to listen to frequency conflicts to keep a balanced sound. Sometimes it ends up with too little or too much bass.

i've never used goldwave before...from what i can tell from their product page though, if you haven't already paid for it, you might get just as much utility out of Audacity, which is a very nice and very free open source program. Reason, however, is tits.
